Where Explosions Are Made

Unfortunately, I ran very short on time as I made this, so here is a very small and unpolished version of the game instead.

Instructions

(these were meant to be included in the game itself, but time apparently does not like me).

  • Welcome to the first level! This level will introduce you to the game's basic mechanics.
  • This is your factory. This is where we produce rockets. Unfortunately, due to government budget cuts, we had to buy it used.
  • As such, we will have to modify the factory to produce the rockets that we need to fulfil the contract.
  • To modify the factory, first click on one of the objects at the bottom, then left click to place, or right click to remove.
  • Note that due to health and safety regulations, you cannot modify parts inside the yellow boxes.
  • Resources will appear periodically at the box labelled 'in'. In this level, it is at the top.
  • The rocket parts (engine, fuel tank and passenger module) must be placed into the assembly things in the correct order (passenger module at the top, tank in the middle and engine at the bottom).
  • Once you're willing to test your factory, click on the play button at the bottom.
  • Unfortunately, the factory is unable to function fully autonomously, and as such requires a human operator.
  • That human operator is you.
  • However, due to health and safety regulations, you must operate the factory remotely. To that end, you have been provided with a remote control.
  • You may connect an object in the factory to any of the four buttons on your remote control by clicking on the button, then on the object.
  • To disconnect, simply repeat this process. Also note that one button can be connected to multiple objects.
  • However, please note that the battery power in the remote control is limited. The number displayed represents the number of button presses which can be made.
  • Hopefully this tutorial I made in about 5 minutes will be sufficient training for your new job. Good luck!
